How we walk together

Code of Conduct

A few simple ways we look out for each other, so the Rest stays restful.

The Heart of It

People matter more than loot.

Our conduct isn't a long list of rules. It's a short list of ways to be a good friend on the road. Most of the time, it comes down to treating each other the way you'd want to be treated.

Our Ways

Be Kind

Encourage, don't tear down. Celebrate the wins, be patient with the wipes, and help where you can.

Keep It Clean

Family-friendly language and content in guild chat, voice, and Discord. Keep names and jokes clean, too.

Real Life First

Family, work, and rest come first. No one is ever in trouble for stepping away from the game.

Encourage Faith

Encourage, not mock, your faith or anyone else's. We're here to build each other up.

Keep the Peace

No theology or political debates in public channels. Friendly conversation is welcome; arguments can wait.

Play Fair

Share loot honestly, honor your commitments to the group, and represent the guild well wherever you go.

When There's Friction

Even good friends rub each other the wrong way sometimes. When it happens, we try to handle it gently, privately, and in this order:

  1. Go to the person first. Reach out to them privately and kindly. Most misunderstandings end right here.
  2. Then bring a friend. If it isn't resolved, ask a trusted guildmate to join the conversation and help you both listen.
  3. Then bring it to the officers. If it's still not settled, the officers will step in to help make things right.

Please keep disagreements out of public chat. And if something ever feels unsafe or seriously wrong, go straight to an officer; you don't need to work through the steps first.

Sound Like Home?

If these ways sound like the kind of company you'd enjoy, we'd love to meet you.
