Questions on the road

Frequently Asked

A few things travelers often ask before they set down their pack.

Do I have to be a Christian to join?

Yes. Sojourner's Rest is a Christian guild, and membership is for fellow Christians from any church background. It isn't meant as a judgment on anyone; it's simply what makes this guild what it is: a place where believers can share the road and encourage one another.

Is this a church?

No. We're friends playing a game together, not a pulpit. There are no sermons, and our officers are organizers, not pastors. Faith is at the heart of who we are, and it shows in how we treat each other.

Are you a hardcore guild?

Community comes first. People matter more than loot. We'll be taking on raids and group content together (raid times to be announced), and we'll gladly cheer you on whatever you want to do in game. We're not here to burn anyone out.

Is it family-friendly?

Yes. We keep guild chat, voice, and our Discord clean and family-friendly. See our Code of Conduct for the details.

Which faction are you?

We're an Alliance guild in World of Warcraft.

I'm new or coming back after a long break. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Come as you are. Guildmates are happy to help with leveling, dungeons, and figuring out what's changed.

Do I have to talk about faith all the time?

Not at all. Faith is at the heart of the guild, but most of our chat is about the game and everyday life. We encourage, not mock, your faith, and we keep theology and politics debates out of public channels.

When do you raid and hold events?

Raid times are still to be announced. Raid nights and events are posted in our Discord, so that's the best place to check. You can also see what we like to do on our Events page.

How do I join?

Join our Discord, say hello and introduce yourself, and an officer will reach out. Then you'll get your invite in game. The full steps are on our Join page.

Still Wondering?

Ask us anything in our Discord. Someone will be glad to answer.
